{"id":259,"date":"2021-05-01T07:58:03","date_gmt":"2021-05-01T06:58:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sites.dundee.ac.uk\/asiciliaaguilar\/?page_id=259"},"modified":"2026-02-17T07:31:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-17T07:31:11","slug":"students-science-fair","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.dundee.ac.uk\/asiciliaaguilar\/students-science-fair\/","title":{"rendered":"Students Science Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of the Experimental and Professional Physics\/Astrophysics Module (PH32006\/32016), since 2019 we have been running a science fair at the Mills Observatory in Dundee<strong><span style=\"color:#2a8702\" class=\"has-inline-color\"> &#8220;Physics at the Mills&#8221;<\/span><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We wanted to come back to Mills Observatory in 2020, but then we had to go in lock-down. Since the students had produced really great materials, <strong>&#8220;Physics at the Mills 2020&#8221;<\/strong> is now going on line, together with the <strong>&#8220;Physics on the Web 2021&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>&#8220;Physics on the Web 2022&#8221;<\/strong>. We have been back at Mills Observatory since March 2023! And beating all the previous audience records in March 2024, and going on to the 7th edition of the fair in 2025. Going on to the 7th edition of the fair is a big feat, which will not be feasible without the collaboration of the Level 3 Physics\/Physics with Astrophysics\/Math &amp; Physics Students from the University of Dundee. The event is children- and family-focused, free and open to all.
