He enjoys doing sports, and has especially spent a lot of time playing football although he fancies most racket-sports as well. When he was 20, he moved to Aarhus to start studying.<\/p>\n<p>Mikael did his undergraduate studies in medicinal chemistry in Aarhus, where he finished after doing a bachelor-project in Kurt V. Gothelf\u2019s group that works on adding function to DNA-nanostructures. He has mainly focused on organic synthesis in his previous laboratory work.<\/p>\n<p>In the Ciulli group, Mikael is working on the fragment-based ligand design.
